Paloma sees Tj and Fall interacting from a far, slowly walking in the opposite direction and nervously trying not to make eye contact. Mr. Fall spots her and calls her over from across the room.
“Paloma! I want to introduce you to someone.” She approaches them, holding a tray of glitter. She looks TJ up and down - smiling, but looks frightened underneath her smile.
“I want you to meet my new …. artist.” He thought about the word a second too long for the introduction to sound genuine. “Make yourselves comfortable” , he says before walking away.
“You know you’re not supposed to be here right?” , she says discretely.
TJ just looks at her. “You don’t belong here … and now he’s watching you… “ she says.
Tj looks at the tray and dabs his pinky into the glitter. He puts his pinky to his face and sniffs the glitter. “So you like to party?” she laughs.
